Poly Loot Stats Guide: Level-Up Choices, Damage & Luck
Poly Loot stat upgrades explained: the per-level Damage, Health, and Defense choices, priority guidance, and the permanent +10% Damage / +10% Luck Discord-verification bonus.
Every level-up in Poly Loot gives a choice between +1 Damage, +1 Health, and +1 Defense. Damage is the recommended first pick in most situations, and the only reported Luck effect is a permanent +10% Damage and +10% Luck bonus tied to Discord verification.
How stat upgrades work
Poly Loot's core loop is defeating monsters, collecting loot, equipping better gear, and leveling up to upgrade stats. Stat allocation is visible in the Stats menu alongside the equipped weapon's damage value, so you can compare the stat contribution and the gear contribution side by side before deciding whether your next problem is the build or the gear.
Damage: what it does and when to prioritize it
Damage is the stat most players recommend first. Because enemies in the Grasslands and later areas die to a fixed number of swings, each Damage point shaves attacks off every fight, which shortens the window in which anything can hit back. Damage compounds, while Health and Defense only pay off once an area outruns your gear.
The counter-rule: if your clear speed is fine but you keep dying to a specific enemy or boss, that is the moment to bank a point into Health or Defense instead of pushing Damage further.
Beyond stats, equipped weapon damage is raised directly at the Upgrade station using coins plus shards from dismantling spare gear at the Crafting station — the item's damage value rises immediately in the menu as confirmation.
Luck: the Discord-verification bonus
The Luck bonus is a per-account reward reported for verifying through the Poly Loot Discord server: a permanent +10% Damage and +10% Luck. To get it, paste your in-game code into the bot commands channel of the Discord server, then enter the reply back in game. What Luck does beyond that bonus, or any other way to raise it, isn't covered here — check the Stats menu after balance updates for anything new.
What stat points don't cover
Stat points are one of several power systems — don't confuse the stats menu with these:
- Gear damage and armor values are upgraded at the Upgrade station with coins and shards, not stat points. Shards come from dismantling spare gear at the Crafting station, and your weapon's damage value rises immediately in the menu as confirmation.
- Tier grades (F- up to Z+) on weapons, armor, and mounts are rerolled with tier scrolls at the Tiers station and are separate from character stats. See the Poly Loot codes guide for the current structured list and reported rewards.
Code lists can be inconsistent between sites and codes expire quickly, so date-check any code before redeeming it.
